About
The objective of the American Indian Faculty and Staff Council is to help increase the recruitment and retention of faculty, staff and, by extension, students who identify as members of the Native and American Indian community. The intent is to build community, in addition to increasing visibility and awareness of Native issues throughout campus and in the larger Ames community. As a community, we will remain dedicated to empowering our indigenous and American Indian constituency here at Iowa State University.
Tuition Information
At the Regent institutions, American Indians who have origins in any of the original people of North America and who maintain a cultural identification through tribal affiliation or community recognition with one or more of the tribes or nations connected historically with the present state of Iowa, including the Iowa, Kickapoo, Menominee, Miami, Missouri, Ojibwa (Chippewa), Omaha, Otoe, Ottawa (Odawa), Potawatomi, Sac and Fox (Sauk, Meskwaki), Sioux, and Winnebago (Ho Chunk), will be assessed Iowa resident tuition and fees.
